Former Bibiani Goldstars and Asante Kotoko coach Michael Osei believes that in order for the Black Stars to achieve gold at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, they’ll have to go the “extra mile.”.

The Black Stars are placed in Group B alongside record winners Egypt, Mozambique, and Cape Verde.

Osei, in a chat with a news portal in Accra, said,”the team has to go and work extra mile, be determined, disciplined, and committed. We still have potential in our team that hopefully we can do better,” he said.

The four-time African champions will pitch camp in Kumasi to prepare for the upcoming tournament, which is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, January 13, 2023.
