DOL Zone 2: Basake Holy Stars open 5 point gap, Asekem & 10-man Sefwi All Stars shock Skyy and Nzema Kotoko

Basake Holy Stars came from behind to beat Venomous Vipers 2-1 in their Division One League Matchday 13 clash at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.

The last day of the year victory against Vipers has opened a 5 point gab at the top of the Division One League Zone Two table.

The match traveled to 69 minutes before Holy Stars got the match winner as Vipers put up a gallant display on the day.

The win keeps Holy Stars at the top of the summit with 28 points- 5 points richer than second placed Soccer Intellectuals, Skyy FC and 10-points ahead of rivals Nzema Kotoko.

In Daboase, Skyy FC were shocked by Asekem FC after playing 1-1 at the St.Martins Anglican School Park.

Nzema Kotoko on the other hand were held to a 1-1 stalemate by 10-man Sefwi All Stars team in an intense game played at the Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli Sports Arena on Sunday afternoon.
