The President of the Zambia Football Association, Andrew Ndanga Kamanga, has presented a budget of USD $2,140,408.05 to the government of Zambia for the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The budget is set to cover all aspects of the competition, from the preliminary matches to the highly anticipated final.
The allocated funds will be instrumental in facilitating various elements crucial to the team’s success.
In order to ensure the squad’s readiness, a portion of the budget has been set aside for training camps, fitness regimens, and medical support.
The FAZ is determined to ensure adequate resources for the technical team to devise effective strategies and tactics are provided, as the budget will also seek to address potential contingencies and unforeseen circumstances.
With government support, Zambia aims to shine on the AFCON stage and perhaps, under the guidance of former Ghana coach Avram Grant, capture the biggest title on the African continent once again.
