AFCON 2023: Where Each Team will Train in Cote D’Ivoire

The Ivory Coast Afcon 2023 will begin on January 13 and conclude on February 11. The competition will be played in Six stadiums.

When releasing the hotels and training facilities for the 24 teams, African football’s governing body noted that three-quarters of the teams at the AFCON Ivory Coast this year will be based within a 30 km (eighteen miles) radius of one another.

Ivory Coast has built about 20 training grounds for AFCON 2023 tournament to be staged in this month.

“Players will have more time to train and rest during the competition while being able to experience the excitement that will take over the country at much closer quarters, as fellow players and passionate fans from all 24 nations will be gathering in a single area,” LOC told the Local Press monitored by Domesticsportsgh.com.

Training sites for each team in Ivory Coast:

Every team will remain in the same hotel and use the same training facility during the event, unlike in past competitions

Other Qualified Nations will also have their training centres around Abidjan including Black Stars of Ghana, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
