Stalwart defender, Augustine Randolf, has parted ways with Karela United in the ongoing Premier League campaign.
The lateral defender joined the Passioners in September 2020 on a three-years deal from Bechem United and went on to establish himself as a mainstay with the club.
The 22-year old made over 50 appearances for Karela United since joining in the 2020-21 domestic season.
Randolf’s involvement with the club earned him a part of coach Annor Walker’s Black Galaxy team for CHAN 2023 in Algeria and Ibrahim Tanko’s Black Meteors for the 2023 AFCON in Morocco.
It’s unclear what the real reason could have been for the club to release it’s committed and high performer who just signed a two-years contract extension before the 2023/24 Betpawa Premier League.
It has been reported that, the Pride and Passions has embarked on a trimming exercise that has seen 12 players leave the club.
