Former Ghanaian international Micheal Esiama has applauded Ivorian winger Simon Adingra for his exceptional performance in the just ended 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Most Discovery Player of the tournament gave an assist during the final game of the Africa Cup of Nations where the Elephants came from behind to win their third Afcon trophy against Super Eagles of Nigeria on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
The host nation delighted their fans in Abidjan with Haller completing a wonderful turnaround as he volleyed home the winner nine minutes from time after Franck Kessie cancelled out William Troost-Ekong’s first-half header.
Reacting after the game, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid star wrote on his X account to congratulate Ivory Coast and showered praise on the Brighton Hove Albion 22 year old winger after the game.
