The President of the African Paralympic Committee (AfPC), Samson Deen, has made a plea to the Ghanaian media to project Africa’s “athletic prowess” to promote public interest in the 13th African Games.
The Greater Accra region would be the host of the 13th African Games dubbed ‘Accra 2023,’ and at a press conference at the Sunlodge Hotel in Tesano, Accra, Samson Deen called on the media houses to provide “extensive coverage.”
“The 13th African Games represent a pivotal moment for our continent to showcase its athletic prowess and unity. It’s imperative that our media outlets rise to the occasion and provide extensive coverage to ensure the success of the event.”
He entreated the media to inspire and promote African unity as the country prepares to host the rest of Africa.
