Otto Addo, Head Coach of Ghana, gives their team instructions during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Group H match between Portugal and Ghana at Stadium 974 on November 24, 2022 in Doha, Qatar.
Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has promised that the Black Stars will play good football under his watch in his second round out at the lead technical man for Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team.
He made this bold pronouncement at a Meet The Press event at the Ghana Football Association headquarters when announcing the Black Stars squad for upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana is scheduled to play Mali on June 6 in Bamako and Central African Republic (CAR) on June 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Addressing the press, Addo boldly claimed his team will play good football as he takes over for the second time after initially serving on an interim basis.
“I will take the opportunity to be brave enough to promise you that we will play good football because I have been studying football for a very long time…the boys especially the ones in Ghana like to play with the ball. This is what I want to implement and I think this is the easiest thing to implement.”
Ghana rank fourth in Group I standings with three points; Comoros lead the way with six points with Mali in second place with four points from two games.
