NZEMA KOTOKO’S RELEGATION BATTLE: 5 Reasons Why They can Survive The Drop- Samuel Enyan writes

Tipped as relegation candidates, Nzema Kotoko had a survival fight on their hands from the next two games of the season.

With an under strength squad not seen as Premier League standard, the Red Armies side have their fortunes around.

Nzema Kotoko this season’s performance has been hung in the balance after being deducted 6-points for fielding an unqualified player.

They are currently sit seven points above the relegation zone after last week’s defeat to Sefwi All Stars.

Young RedBull on a paper have been relegated to the Division One League with two remaining slots left for either Vipers, Nzema Kotoko or Beposo Asekem.

With every game now like a World Cup final, five key factors that can keep the team’s Division One League dream alive.

KEY REASONS:

1.Nzema Kotoko needs to win against Venomous Vipers to avoid any drop this Sunday.

2.Vipers would drop to the 15th position whiles Nzema Kotoko would be in proper position to survive.

3.Mathematically, Nzema Kotoko needs 4 points and pray that Karela United survive in the league, should Karela be relegated to the Division One League, 14th to 16th position clubs will all be relegated as well.

5.Should Karela stay in the Premier league and Nzema Kotoko grab just three points from their remaining games, Vipers would be relegated with poor head to head against Nzema Kotoko.

There is also another mouthwatering prospect of Nzema Kotoko needing to go to King Faisal on the final day of the season needing a result to stay up at Vipers expense – but there is also a scenario whereby the relegation spots could be settled this weekend.
