On Friday, May 31, 2024, the Black Stars of Ghana held their first training session at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Sturdy defender Alexander Djiku was not present for Otto Addo’s team’s training session since he is recovering from an injury he sustained in his last game for Fenarbache.
Ghana, which has won and lost its first two games in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, is now ranked fourth in Group I.
The first match will take place in Bamako, against Mali on June 7, before facing the Central African Republic three days later in Kumasi.
