The Ellembelle District Chief Executive Officer, Hon.Kwasi Bonzoh has gifted GHC5,000.00 to Basake Holy Stars for qualifying to the Ghana Premier League.
The donation was done after the coronation by the Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in Ellembelle, Sampson Ndoli (One man).
“So Basake Holy Stars, I want to assure you that the DCE and his constituents are with you . This is the time to enjoy, refresh, motivate and incentivise yourself for the task ahead, we are with you. Congratulations,” he said.
The chairman who made the donation on behalf of the DCE also assured the club of Ellembelle’s full support.
“The DCE will continue going to support the club to ensure that they get the necessary resources and motivation ahead of the GPL journey ,” he added.
” We are here on behalf of the DCE to present you GHC5,000 and we are ready to support anytime you need us, congratulations once again.”
Holy Stars secured their first Ghana Premier League status following a resounding 1-0 victory over Rospak at Crosby Awuah Memorial Park Park on Saturday June 15.
Holy Stars had a tremendous campaign in the National Division One Zone Two after accumulating 56 points in 30 games.
