GPL: Confirmed 18-teams to play in the 2024/25 Season

The 2023/24 season of the Ghana Premier League concluded on Sunday, June 16, 2024, with Samartex clinching the championship title.

Great Olympics, Bofoakwa Tano, and Real Tamale United were relegated to the Division leagues at the end of the season.

Conversely, three teams from the Division One League have earned promotion to the top tier and will compete in the 2024/25 season. Young Apostles, Basake Holy Stars, and Vision FC secured promotion and are set to debut in the elite league next season.

Hearts of Oak narrowly avoided relegation by defeating Bechem United at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on the final matchday. They managed to secure their place in the league despite fierce competition.

In a crucial match, Hearts of Oak rallied from behind to secure a critical 3-2 victory over the Hunters, ensuring their survival in the league.

Ahead of the final day, Bofoakwa Tano and Real Tamale United had already faced relegation due to their underwhelming performances.
