Ghana National Petroleum Cooperation ( GNPC) in partnership with GNPC Foundation are expected to renovate the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park to an ultra modern facility according to reports we have gathered.
The reports also revealed that the CAM Park will soon see major renovation and maintenance works to keep it in good shape for sporting activities.
The initiative will be part of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation’s (GNPC) commitment to youth development in Ghana.
The National Petroleum Authority constructed the CAM Park during the covid era in 2020 but the facility looks deteriorating over lack of maintenance.
In an exclusive interview with the President of the newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Basake Holy Stars, Hon.Simon Ehomah revealed that, there have been several discussions regarding the upgrading of Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
” We have had several discussions with GNPC and promised to help us renovating the CAM Park after the Middle League, though it was a promise made by them but I would be much happier if our political leaders led by Hon.Armah Kofi Buah and Bonzoh K will push for us (I mean our MP & DCE of Ellembelle) “, he added.

The expected partnership will showcase GNPC’s comprehensive support to all 16 regions of Ghana, exemplifying the corporation’s dedication to fostering positive change through development.
Holy Stars was promoted to the Ghana Premier League after leading the Zone Two summit with 56 points.
According to the Public Interest and Accountability Committee ( PIAC) 2021 annual report , Crosby Awuah Memorial Park astro turf which was constructed in 2020 under the GNPC Foundation’s Sports Development program was constructed at a cost of Gh¢127,708.53 and looks likely to go up over 50%.
