According to reliable sources available to Domesticsportsgh.com indicate that, Former GNPC board chairman, Hon.Freddy Blay has promised to give Basake Holy Stars a new team bus after historic qualification to the Ghana Premier League.
Basake Holy Stars paid an August visit to the former lawmaker residence in Accra and reports suggest that he congratulated the team and promised to do his best to ensure the team get new bus through GNPC Foundation.
“Let me congratulate you, you have really done well and We are proud of you, We will talk and push for a new team bus as you have requested, it is a promise and we will work towards it” Hon.Freddy Blay addressed the playing body.
Holy Stars promoted to the Ghana Premier League after leading the 2023/24 Division One League Zone Two summit with 56 points.
