Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah is set to return to parent club RWD Molenbeek after a season-long loan at Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais.

The starlet was a hit in Ligue 1, making 29 appearances, scoring three times, and assisting twice.

However, with Lyon’s current financial struggles, it would be unable to keep the Kumasi-born star for another season after helping the team finish sixth in the league standings.

Lyon are also keen on selling their star player, Ryan Cherki, as PSG and Dortmund have both contacted the French side regarding his price tag.

The latest developments have seen Italian club AS Roma circling around the Black Stars attacker.
