Report: Nzema Kotoko part ways with head coach Mensah Logosu

Division One League side Nzema Kotoko have parted ways with head coach Mensah Logosu following the club’s shambolic performance after the 2023/24 Division One season, Domesticsportsgh.com can report.

The young gaffer was appointed head coach of Ampain based club in 2023 as a replacement for George Prince Kwofie, after placing third in the last two season’s league .

Experienced Samuel Quaye and Fitness trainer Charles Kainyah takes charge of the team on the interim until a substantive one is appointed in the coming weeks.

The duo are supervising the club’s ongoing Justify-your- inclusion exercises at the Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III Arena in Ampain.

Logosu joins a list of Kotoko coaches who have been parted ways in the last 2 seasons after Felix Tamakloe, Ogba Bashar, Moses Kwofie and interestingly taking their list to 18-coaches in the last 10 years.

A new coach is likely to be appointed in the coming weeks because above-mentioned coaches does not possess the required coaching qualification to hold the top position.

According to the Club licencing requirements only CAF Licence “A” coaches can hold the position of head coach for Premier League and Division One clubs and those currently in charged don’t have.
