FC Samartex is set to compete against Raja Casablanca in the second round of the playoffs for the group stages of the new CAF Champions League season.
On Sunday, the Ghanaian champions secured a victory over Victoria United in the first round of the playoffs’ return leg.
In a match held at the Accra Sports Stadium, Isaac Afful scored the only goal, finding the net in the 8th minute of the first half to give FC Samartex a 1-0 win.
The win sees FC Samartex advancing to the second round of the playoffs to the group stage of the CAF Champions League with an aggregate score of 2-0.
The Ghanaian champions will now face Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in the next round of the playoffs.
