“We’re good to go because of Astro turf”– Medeama coach prepares for challenging test against Holy Stars

Medeama SC head coach Nebojsa Kapor is bracing for a difficult encounter as his side prepares to face Basake Holy Stars in their Ghana Premier League matchday four clash.

The Yellow & Mauves side will travel to the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Aiyinase on Sunday afternoon, aiming to bounce back from their disappointing start to the season.

Speaking ahead of the game, Kapor acknowledged the strength of their opponents, Basake Holy Stars “It’s a tough match. Holy Stars is a strong team. We’ve faced them once in a cup match since I took charge. Truth be told, they are a strong side,” Kapor admitted.

” But we have also prepared very hard, the Astro turf won’t be any problem, We are good to go and ready to face them with good preparations we are having, no problem playing on the turf”, he added.

Basake Holy Stars are eager to improve after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Bibiani GoldStars in match day three. The result has put pressure on the Basake based club to deliver a much-needed victory after 0-0 draw against Dreams FC in first home match.

Both teams are poised for a fiercely contested battle as they seek to gain momentum in the early stages of the season.
