FC Samartex enterprising young shot-stopper, Shaibu Rafique Issah, has guided his school Adiembra Senior High to win this years super zonals competition in the Western Region.
Shaibu’s exploits in the just ended Senior High School football competition scaffolded his side to defend the title they previously won by beating Half-Assini Senior High School 2-1. His sharp reflexes, command at the back as well as his ability to save 1v1 situations made him a vital cog in the team.
The incredibly talented goalkeeper managed to keep three clean sheets in the four matches he played, showcasing his remarkable skills and making him an absolute delight to watch throughout the games.
This year’s competition marks the final event in which he will represent Adiembra Senior High School, following his successful completion of the secondary education.
The school will forever cherish the memory of Shaibu, not only for his unwavering dedication to the school’s sports programs but also for his remarkable performances and achievements during various competitions.
