Ahmed Mahmoud and Mohammed Abdel Rahman scored in the second half to hand the Falcons of Jediane the 2-0 triumph on Tuesday.

At a packed Stade De Martyrs, the Black Stars struggled to find their way in the game, finishing the first half with no shot on target.

In the second half, Ghana, eager for the win, pushed forward and let space in defence.

Sudanese in their quick transition punished Black Stars on the various counter breaks which resulted in two quick goals for the home team.

The defeat leaves Ghana with two points and languishing third spot while Sudan has amassed seven points and lies second just behind Angola.

For Ghana, it’s certainly difficult to secure qualification for the 2025 African Cup of Nations in Morocco but technically it’s possible.
