Report: Mallam Yahaya returns to Nzema Kotoko as Head coach until the end of season

In a wild season of comings and goings at Nzema Kotoko, Mallam Yahaya’s out-of- the- red return to AAK Arena is among the most improbable of the lot.

Mallam Yahaya, one of the Nzema Kotoko finest coaches over the years has been hired as interim manager until the end of the season to give the club time to find a way of permanent replacement, according to reports we have gathered.

It will be Mallam’s third spell as Nzema Kotoko coach, he left the club after 2015/16 season, he came again in the 2018/19 season, but fortunately left the club after mutual agreement.

Mallam Yahaya will be the fifth manager to lead the team in the 2024 calendar year after Tamakloe, Coffie, Quaye, and Mensah Logosu who was fired after the disappointing 2023/24 season.

The hard spoken coach has already began training with the team ahead of their Sunday showdown against UCC Youngsters.

The Ampain-based club is winless in the 3 opening games of the season.
