AUDIO: Abdul Gazale bemoans ’emotionally immature’ Holy Stars after Chelsea draw

Abdul Gazale admitted his Basake Holy Stars side were ’emotionally immature’ following their 2-2 Ghana Premier League draw against Berekum Chelsea.

The team conceded in the dying embers of the game after poor defensive work by the back four which led Gazale to give a scathing assessment of his team.

Speaking after the game, Abdul Gazale emphatically blamed his defenders for the late equalizer at the Golden City Park.

“I was disappointed, and this is a new team, if they were to be matured players this wouldn’t have happened, because I told them several times to stay in front of the 18-yard box, they were tactically disciplined as well but it’s fine results for us, “, he said.

Gazale knows his boys now need to make a strong recovery ahead of their next home match against Accra Lions.

” We have to get the points in the next match to keep us in the league”, he added.

Holy Stars are 12th on the league log with 9 points after 9 games.
