West End Radio 100.3 FM has revealed that, the final day of the Ellembelle MP’s Cup Competition was the highest attendance at the Awuale Amihere Kpanyinli Sports Arena since its construction.
According to the foremost Nzema journalist, Riquelme the Sports Lecturer, he disclosed that the final match between Kamgbunli and Anokyi is the highest attendance recorded ever in the history of Awuale Amihere Kpanyinli Sports Arena.”
The closest ever game according to Riquelme was Nzema Kotoko’s game against Basake Holy Stars during the 2023/24 Division One League Zone Two campaign.
The 5,000-seater uncompleted Awuale Amihere Kpanyinli Sports Arena was packed around 3,000 football fans during an epic showdown between Anokyi vrs Kamgbunli in the final of the 2024 Ellembelle MP’s Cup Competition.
Anokyi defeated Kamgbunli 2-1 on penalties to lift the second edition of the competition.
