Medeama’s Felix Kyei eyes victory against Young Apostles

Medeama SC goalkeeper, Felix Kyei, has promised fans that the team will fight for a win against Young Apostles in their next match in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The shot-stopper was left disappointed on Sunday when the Tarkwa-based club lost to Gold Stars in Bibiani.

The goalkeeper put up a fantastic display in the Week 28 fixture, but a late penalty converted by Samuel Attah Kumi earned all three points for the home team.

Speaking in a post-match interview, Felix Kyei rallied his Medeama SC teammates to move on and focus on winning the next league match against Young Apostles.

“We came into the game with the mentality to win, but it didn’t happen. We are going back home to prepare for our next game. We will correct our mistakes and move forward. It’s a painful defeat. Conceding last-minute is worrying.

“We call on the fans to come and support us at home. We will fight for the three points for them,” Felix Kyei said.

The Ghana Premier League match between Medeama SC and Young Apostles will be played on Saturday, April 26, at TnA Stadium.
