There’s still hope for Nzema Kotoko to survive- Coach CK

Caretaker coach for struggling Division One League side, Nzema Kotoko, Charles Kainyah, has voiced apprehensions regarding the club’s current state.

The Nzema based club have found themselves mired in a rough patch, particularly during the latter half of the ongoing 2024/25 Division One League season, securing just 8 points in their last 10 outings.

Their lacklustre displays have left them tethering precariously, last on the summit with 23 points after 25 games.

The latest blow came in the form of a 2-0 away defeat suffered in the hands of Sefwi All Stars during matchday 26, amplifying the pressure on the team.

In a post match interview with the club’s Media representative, Kwasi Menlah, Coach Kainyah remained optimistic that the team could still survive relegation.

” There’s hope, why not, We still have 5 matches and we can prepare ourselves to avoid relegation, so there’s still hope for Nzema Kotoko”, he said.

Expressing a fervent desire to stave off relegation, Coach CK emphasized the collective effort required to navigate through this testing period.

” We need each and everyone on board to rally behind the club for a possible survival” He added.
