Coach of Basake Holy Stars Abdulai Gazale has blamed fatigue following their 3-0 defeat in the Ghana Premier League matchday 29 clash against Samartex 1996.
The defeat brought a disappointing conclusion to a busy period for Basake Holy Stars who have redeemed their image after poor runs of results in the early stages of the second half of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Reflecting on the loss, Gazale admitted that the result was difficult to take and said: We need to swallow this one, we were in hurry and had poor warm up and that actually affected us, I have to take the blame,” he said.
“We had a fault, our car developed fault because of the nature of the roads, it is a lesson to us, because none of us doesn’t know this place and that actually affected us the early goal, he added.
The team will now travel again to face Young Apostles at the Wenchi Sports Complex in matchday 30 to recover their defeat to avoid any scare in the remaining games of the season.
