We’ll improve our defense – Coach Abdulai Gazale confident ahead of Young Apostles clash

The head coach of Basake Holy Stars, Abdulai Gazale says his side will keep working on their defence so they don’t concede more goals in the upcoming matches in the Ghana Premier League.

Basake Holy Stars have conceded over 15 away goals in the competition. They conceded three goals in their match week 29 clash against Samartex in Samreboi.

The rate at which the Basake based club keep leaking goals at home and away in their matches has raised concerns on team’s defense set up.

But Gazale in an exclusive interview with Domesticsportsgh.com insisted the technical team have worked on the issue to ensure the problem is curtailed in their subsequent matches.

” Tactically we have worked on our defensive orientation, worked on the midfield pressing and if we are able to do this in our match against Apostles then we are good to go, and I hope the boys will do their best to get the three maximum points”, he said.

Young Apostles will take on Basake Holy Stars on Sunday at the Wenchi Sports Complex.
