Disciplinary Committee blames Nations FC for AAK Arena commotion

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has responded to the separate petitions filed by Basake Holy Stars and Nations FC and blamed the Abrankese based club for causing commotion at the Awuale Amihere Kpanyinli Sports Arena in Ampain.

The matchday 33 encounter between Holy Stars and Nations at the AAK Arena in Ampain, Western Region, ended abruptly following chaotic and disturbing incidents.

However, according to Nations FC controversial calls by the officiating referee and inadequate security compelled them to walk off the pitch, eventually forfeiting the game despite leading the league standings.

Following the petitions filed by both clubs after that high-stakes game, the Disciplinary Committee has decided and blamed the Nations for causing an abrupt end to the match.
