Swedru All Blacks have sealed their return to the Ghana Premier League after a 16-year absence, following their official coronation as champions of Zone Two in the Access Bank Division One League.
The crowning ceremony was held at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with several high-profile dignitaries in attendance. Executive Council Members Frederick Acheampong and Gideon Fosu, Central Regional Minister Ekow Panyin Okyere Aduamoah, Agona West MP Hon. Ernestina Ofori Dangbey, and MCE Hon. Evans Addison Coleman were present, along with traditional leaders from Agona Swedru.
Swedru All Blacks clinched the title with a game to spare, finishing the season with 66 points from 30 matches, comprising 21 wins, 3 draws, and 6 defeats. Their coronation match ended in a 1-1 draw with Soccer Intellectuals.
The triumph marks a major milestone for the club, which last competed in Ghana’s top flight in the 2008/09 season. Swedru All Blacks will now feature in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League, ushering in a new chapter for the historic club.
