Ivorian Football Federation has officially presented a cheque of CFA25m ($43,896) to Stade d’Abidjan for clinching the 2024/25 Ligue 1 season.
The Capital based club emerged winners of the campaign after leading the summit with 62 points, scoring 47 and conceding 26 goals in 30 games.
This will be their first trophy in 56 years having won the league back in 1969.
Stade d’Abidjan will now represent Ivory Coast in the 2025/25 CAF Champions League campaign.
Meanwhile, the Federation of the International Football Association (FIFA) through their President Gianni Infantino have congratulated Stade d’Abidjan for their league success.
