Former Chelsea star Geremi Njitap has been handed a five-year ban by the Cameroonian FA (FECAFOOT) as his spat with Samuel Eto’o continues.
Geremi has been a fierce critic of Eto’o-led FECAFOOT, a thorn in his former international teammate’s flesh.
The FECAFOOT, in an official statement, stated that Geremi, leader of the union representing Cameroonian footballers, had breached its behavioural codes; hence, the ban.
Once of Real Madrid, Geremi, was further fined 10 million CFA francs (approximately $16,500) for his troubles.
