The leading construction firm working on the controversial Axim Sports complex, Bismat Construction Limited has conducted a working visit to the facility ahead of its final phase scheduled for September 2025.

The managing Director of the firm, Bismark Aboubi and its engineers inspected the progress of work done so far to prepare the facility for the possible handover.

During the inspection, the contractor reviewed aspects of the facility, including the access routes, clinic, football pitch, dressing room as well as areas designated for indoor and outdoor games.

The Municipal Youth Speaker of the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, Rth Hon.Jonas Kabutey was also present and expressed gratitude to the contractors for their efforts, he urged them to intensify their efforts to ensure the timely completion and handing over of the facility before Axim Kundum.

In an exclusive interview with Bismat Construction Limited, they revealed that they are doing their best to put the facility in good shape but they need available funds to push the work faster.

” We are still working here, although nothing has been handed to us interms of funds, the appropriate quarters have called us and we are kindly waiting for their approval to speed up the work by way of the available funds.

” We can use just 30 days to complete the project because it left with the final phase of the project, All want we need is money for the project, he told Domesticsportsgh.com.

Even today, if we get the money we can complete the project before your Kundum, be added.

Axim Sports complex is one of the 10 sports complexes constructed by the past administration led by Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.
