The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Chairman, Mr John Ansah has confirmed that the Accra Sports Stadium will serve as the venue for this year’s highly anticipated GHALCA Top 4 Tournament.
The Top Four tournament, which takes place ahead of the new football season, will feature Bibiani GoldStars, Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak.
Chairman of GHALCA, Mr. John Ansah, made the official announcement, noting that the choice of venue aligns with the association’s commitment to providing fans and clubs with a world-class football experience ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The tournament serves as a pre-season competition to sharpen the participating clubs’ competitiveness and readiness for the new campaign.
“We’re playing in Accra and the date stands the same, we will be doing the needful where we have to launch the program but as it stands Accra Sports Stadium is where we’re playing,” Mr. Ansah told GHOne TV.
Fans can expect thrilling encounters as top-tier clubs battle for early bragging rights in what has become one of the key fixtures on the local football calendar.
The GHALCA Top 4 Tournament, which traditionally features the top four teams from the previous league season, is scheduled to kick off August 20 to 24.
