A swift turnaround after Seedorf Asante lost the ball deep in the half of the Phobians resulted in the second goal. Issah smartly chipped the ball over the Lions goalie to send the home fans wild.
Heart of Lions came more alive in the second half, but Hearts of Oak maintained composure to see out the game for a good win ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season.
