The Municipal Chief Executive Officer of the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, Hon Herbert Kua Dickson has donated a cash of Ghc3,000 to Ghana Premier League side Basake Holy Stars after their emphatic win over Asante Kotoko.
Speaking in an interview with West End Radio, he revealed that he is a fan of the game and feel proud to support Basake Holy Stars on Nzema soil.
“ Personally I am fan of football, really like football much, and it’s a need for us to support our own, that is why we are here and I am very proud we were able to beat Kotoko”.
I gave them Ghc3,000 for the players after the game and we even supported them before the game on match tickets to be given to supporters, so in all we supported with Ghc5,000 and going forward we will do more, Hon Kuah Dickson told West End Radio’s Ebenezer Adiebah.
The Victory moves Holy Stars to 9 points, bolstering their hopes of escaping the relegation zone.
