Black Stars ‘fear no for ‘ ahead of World Cup – Ghana FA Pres. Kurt Okraku

Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku says the Black Stars are approaching the next World Cup with renewed belief, insisting the team is no longer intimidated by traditional football giants.

Speaking in Sporty FM in Accra, Okraku pointed to a growing sense of confidence with the squad under head coach Otto Addo.

“Few years ago, if you heard a fixture like Ghana vs Germany, you do be afraid, But today, we are very confident, “he said. “The intangible assets have been put together by Otto Addo and his team will make Ghana proud”.

The FA President added the team is ready to embrace the challenge of competing on the global stage.

Ghana will go into this tournament with our chest up, ready to fight for the strip and ready to change our story, We fear no foe and believe me Ghana football will speak” he said.

Ghana are expected to test confidence in the March international window, where they will face Austria and Germany in high profile friendly matches as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
