Albert Commey opposes against the continuity of 2019/20 season behind closed doors
Techiman Eleven Wonders Chief Executive Officer, Albert Commey, has opposed against the idea of continuing the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season behind closed doors.
Ghana football season has been suspended since March this year due to the novel corona virus outbreak in the country.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) recently met with the Presidential committee on COVID-19 and has proposed the continuity of the season behind closed doors.
According to Albert Commey, playing the league without spectators will have adverse effects on the clubs both psychologically and financially.
“I don’t support the idea of playing behind closed doors. Maybe I will get the opportunity to watch but playing behind closed doors is a no for me”.
“The GFA shouldn’t cancel the season but they should rather engage the clubs on the way forward”he told GH media
