“Cancelling the Season will not be the best option “- Richard Asare of Nzema Kotoko
Nzema Kotoko speedster Richard Asare has stressed the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season shouldn’t be cancelled for now.

The football season in the country has been suspended due to the Covid-19 which has being declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) since February.
Ghana has currently recorded over 10,000 cases, with 3,500 Recoveries and sadly recorded 48 deaths.
Due to the growing number of cases in Ghana, it is unclear when the Ghana Premier League or any other league will resume. Due to that, the issue of whether to cancel the season and start afresh has come up.
Reacting to that in an interview with West End Radio “Hard Tackle Sports” Richard Asare has indicated that totally cancelling the season should not be considered at this point in time.
“For me, I will say I don’t support the cancellation ”
” I know proper things can be done for us to continue the season ,with good measures we can play again ” he told West End Radio
Ghana football Season is still on hold since March and the final decision of the football season will be decided after June 30 according the the FA.
