“80% of Karela and Nzema Kotoko players are outsiders, which is unfair to Nzema players” – Coach Francis
The head coach of Western Region division II side Wages FC, Francis Bedu- Annan has condemned the project set up by the two Nzema teams for neglecting the indigenous players.
He believes it will be the best interest of both clubs to invest the team with home grown players than outsiders.
” Sammy I think both Karela United and Nzema Kotoko are not being fair to their home based players here,Check Karela for instance they only have 2 players ,Nzema kotoko have 5,and it is not a good sign to promote our own” they should have some quota for more Nzema players than others” Francis told West End Radio Hard Tackle sports.
“The clubs are here at least they should have trust in them ,it should be 60/40 against outsiders ” he added.
Bedu- Annan who is a nurse by profession also adviced the youth to be hardworking and focus if they want to play football to that far.
