Politicians are the cause of Ghana football downfall – Kennedy Agyapong
According to him, Ghana’s football had a bright future until politicians involved themselves in the game which is now suffering.
The lawmaker was speaking on Accra-based OMAN FM monitored by domesticsportsgh.com
“Let me tell you today, politicians have destroyed soccer in Ghana. Some politicians who started meddling in soccer led to its death in Ghana. This is because some of the coaches are forced to use certain players in favour of these politicians.
The coaches have no choice than to heed to the orders because they don’t want to lose their jobs”.he told Oman FM in Accra.
Kennedy Agyapong is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central in the Central Region.
Ghana football season is still on hold due to the novel Corona virus Pandemic.
The fate of Ghana football will be decided on June 30.
