Karela United wants the 2019-20 Premier League season cancelled.
According to data carried out by Nzema football fan page ( NFFP), 70% of Karela United players want the season to be cancelled due to the growing number of COVID-19 cases.
Ghana have so far recorded over 14,000 active cases with 11,000 recoveries and sadly 78 deaths.

Most of the players counts the negative effects of the late resumption of the elite Division.
The 2019/20 Ghana premier league was put on hold in mid-march following government ban on all social gatherings and sporting events.
Majority of Karela United set up including management, technical team and Supporters want this season football league cancelled because of the rapid spread of the novel Corona virus Pandemic.
Adding his voice to the latest situation and the future of the Ghana football,young chap Mohammed Abubakar has revealed that the 2020 football season should be rather cancelled.
” We didn’t start well ,so if we can cancel the league it will help us especially Karela”
” We are ready to play our heart out for survival but cancelling the League will be better ” he told West End Radio.
Ghana football season which is on hold since March will be decided after June 30.
