Liberia FA set October date for new season
The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has set October 24 for the kickoff of the 2020/21 football season.
At a meeting with stakeholders on Saturday (July 13), the participants settled on the date taking into consideration many internal and external factors.
According to the LFA president, Mustapha Raji, the registration period is expected to open on August 3 till October 4, with further details to be announced in due course.
The 2019-20 top flight season was cancelled by the LFA due to COVID-19 with all results nullified, meaning no champions declared nor relegation to the second-tier.
