TODAY IN HISTORY:Nelson Madela paid solace to the Black stars following their painful defeat to Uruguay.
On this day, 3 July 2010 #NelsonMandela met the Black Stars of Ghana, the only African team to make it to the quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup 2010.
The Black Stars of Ghana played a 1:1 draw game with Uruguay in regulation time with Sulley Ali Muntari and Diego Forlan on the score sheet.
A painful scene was inflicted on the Black Stars as Luis Suarez grabbed Dominic Adiyiah ball on the line as Asamoah Gyan missed the last ditch spot kick.
