Anim Cudjoe pleads with government to ease restrictions on football
Asante Kotoko wonder-kid Matthew Anim Cudjoe has made a passionate appeal to the President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo to lift bans imposed on contact sports such as football in the country.
Ghana football remains Suspended since March following the protocols measures to combat COVID-19 Pandemic.
Government has eased restrictions for Ghanaians to return to their normal activities and greater percentage of social gatherings such as religious activities.
Anim Cudjoe was a delight to watch in the 2019/20 Premier league season which has been cancelled as a result of the high growth on the Coronavirus Pandemic.
“I want to smell the grass again,get the fell of the ball on my boots.I plead with the president to lift the ban on sports.My life is incomplete without football” he wrote on his Twitter handle .
Meanwhile,the Ghana Football Association (GFA)after cancelling the Ghana Premier League and other competitions under it’s watch announced October 2020 as the new date for the start of next season.
