Adom Frimpong gives hope to Kotoko fans
Asante Kotoko midfielder, Kwame Adom Frimpong has assured supporters to expect much from him when football finally returns from the Coronavirus pandemic.
The 23-year-old made 11 appearances in the truncated 2019/2020 Ghana premier league for Maxwell Konadu’s side and formed a very solid midfield partnership with Justice Blay and Mudasiru Salifu.
In an interview with Kotoko Express, Frimpong said he has not lived up to the expectation due to some injuries he sustained during the season and has assured the fans of a good show when football resumes in the country.
” I was off the line in some part of the season due to injuries I sustained.I believe my show will come for the Supporters when football resumes proper”
” it has not helped in general terms but personally it has helped me to fully recover and when football resumes you are going to see the Adom Frimpong you’ve known,” he added.
The Kumasi-born player had previously spent two years with Mjällby AIF who play in the Swedish Second Division League.
