I miss football a lot – Abdul Ganiu
Asante Kotoko defender Ismail Abdul Ganiu has stated that he misses football following the suspension of all football related activities amid coronavirus crisis.
According to him, staying at home without playing football for about 6-months worries him and that, praying to the almighty Allah to heal the world so football can bounce back especially in Ghana.
“Missing the game, of course I have missed football, I will urge everyone to stay at home and be safe. I Hope “Isha Allah” We will come back soon” he told West End Radio.
The Former Black Stars B centre back is currently in his hometown due to the outbreak of the deadly disease that has wrecked the world and claimed over 100 lives in Ghana.
” I was just returning fully from injury, so bad, the league was suspended, in fact I missed football for sure” he added.
Abdul Ganiu joined Asante Kotoko from Karela United in 2018 after the death of Club president Senator David Brigidi.
He led Wa All stars to their first ever GPL success in 2016.
