Richmond Ayi eyes Club world cup title with Hearts of Oak
Hearts of Oak diamond shot-stopper Richmond Ayi says he wants to help the Phobians recapture continental glory.
Ayi, who recently lost the number one spot to Richard Attah, has set a target of shouldering the Phobians to the Fifa Club World Cup in the nearest future.
Speaking to footy-ghana.com’s Adamu Muftawu, Ayi emphatically opened up on his set target with the continental club masters.
“When I was young, I watched how the 64 battalions conquered Ghana and Africa.
“They won the Ghana League, CAF Champions League,Confederations Cup and the Caf Super Cup.
“So that is my target with Hearts of Oak as a goalkeeper.
“My aim is to take Hearts of Oak to the highest level as far as the Fifa Club World Cup”.
Ayi, is considered as one of the most talented goalkeepers in the local scene having guided Hearts of oak into the semi finals during the Normalisation Special Competition in 2019.
