INSIDE STORY: The profile of young Ghanaian footballer who plays for Dubai club Forcies Fc
Godfred Sabutey Junior is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Dubai based outfits Forcies FC.
He was born on 11 August,1997 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
THE EARLY LIFE
Sabutey, hails from from Aflao in the Volta Region of Ghana. He is the son of Mr.Richard Sabutey and Madam Charity Logusu.
He begun his education from a nursery school called Ekua RC on the voltaland before relocating to settle in Nzema Basake with his family.
Sabutey Jnr, was enrolled in Hassaniya Islamic primary school where he completed his junior high school education.
He continued his second cycle education with Nyankumasi Ahenkro Senior High School in the Central Region of Ghana where he was an integral part of their school team from his first year to the final year.
FOOTBALL CAREER
Godfred Sabutey Jnr, started his football journey with Awiebo Arsenal Babies before switching to Basake Young Holy under the guidance of Coach Ferguson.
He was promoted to their Division II side Basake Holy Stars after a season with Young Holy due to his exploits with the youth side making him the youngest player in their Division II squad for the Season.
Sabutey later moved to National Division One side Danbort FC in Accra and later left the club after a season. He joined Burkinabe side RCK where he played for a year before re-uniting with his former team Basake Holy Stars.
The young Sabutey moved out of the West Africa country to seek greener pastures abroad hence moving to Dubai to join Admiras FC before switching Camp to Forcies FC last year.
STYLE OF PLAY
Godfred Sabutey Junior is an attacking all-rounder player who is able to play in a variety of offensive positions. He is being referred to as Muller by the Sports Fanatics due to his similar style of play to Germany and Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller.
Sabutey is known for his maturity, techniques, awareness, tactical intelligence, composure, stamina and positioning. He is also an unorthodox player.
