I am not Astonished on CAS verdict – Odofoley Nortey
A member of the past Normalisation Committee, Lawyer Naa Odofoley Nortey has said that she is not amazed on the outcome of the CAS ruling between the Ghana Football Association and ex-GFA presidential candidate Wilfred Osei Kwaku.
The Court of Arbitration for Sports released the verdict on Wednesday morning, with Palmer’s case against the FA being dismissed.
The NC disqualified Wilfred Osei from the last presidential race over claims of not reporting a commission from the transfer of Joseph Painstil.
“I was not startled about the ruling from CAS. It was clear about the disqualification handed over to him by the erstwhile Normalisation Committee.
The world sports tribunal body announced the verdict to bring to an end an 11-month litigation which has intimidated the administration of football in the West African nation.
