TP Mazembe star pays heartfelt Tribute to his late Karela United Director
Former Africa Sports and Ivorian workaholic midfielder Ourega Jean Vital has paid an emotional tribute to his former President Senator David Cobbinah Brigidi during his two years commemoration.
The former Chief Executive Officer of Karela Groups of companies passed on in the early hours of September 30, 2018 in London after battling a short illness.
Speaking to Domesticsportsgh.com far away Lubumbashi in Democratic Republic of Congo, the midfielder stated, “Senator Unwavering commitment to Karela United and the sports football was amazing and inspiring; he taught me so much about life and we have not only lost a great leader but a good father”.
He also said, his former boss was a very influential man behind big decisions and it is a big loss to the Karela United fraternity, Nzema and Ghana football at large.
Jean Vital, joined Karela United in December 2017 from Ivorian top-flight side AS Denqüélè, he was very instrumental in Karela United maiden premier league season in 2018, before it was trucanted due to the Anas expose which brought football in Ghana to a halt.
The 24-year old Ivorian International left Karela in 2019 to join Zambia outfits Buildon fc.
